Trellist is looking to hire an Associate Director of Copy.


The Associate Director responsible for defining strategic direction and developing B2C copy for our financial clients. Position requires a creative thinker with excellent writing and research skills who can work effectively with other team members to create a variety of direct response and promotional marketing materials, including email, web and direct mail.


This role can accommodate contract or full time.


Key Responsibilities


  • Write concise, informative and engaging copy and persuasively communicate creative ideas and rational  
  • Write clear, persuasive and compelling copy that generates response and is consistent with the voice of the brand
  • Work independently and/or collaboratively with creative designers and other team members to develop concepts for both digital and print materials 
  • Establish message strategy and story based on target and segmentation
  • Ensure work is strategically sound and within brand guidelines
  • Develops breakthrough concepts and writes concise, effective copy for multi-channel direct response campaigns (including direct mail, email and other digital media)
  • Collaborates effectively – from project start to finish – with creative directors, graphic designers, and other copywriters to produce winning creative executions
  • Superior presentation skills for communicating everything from concepts to campaign creative for client consideration and approval
  • Proven ability to generate customer response by writing highly effective ad, digital, and marketing copy (e.g., taglines, headlines, sub-headlines, RTBs, CTAs, etc.) along with storyboarding and scriptwriting (TV, radio and video)
  • Analytical skills required to research any topic, identify customer insights, and integrate data points into creative executions in the most impactful way
  • Adopts the voice, personality and tone of client brands (across a number of industries) by accurately interpreting brand and language guides
  • Ability to manage multiple projects of any size with changing demands while maintaining deadlines and budgets
  • Think conceptually and also work hands-on writing copy
  • Develop test strategies for direct response (print and digital) communications
  • Present creative and participate in client meetings

Social Media Analyst

The Social Media Analyst will collaborate with account managers, project managers, social business strategists and content developers to provide stellar insights for our clients across the verticals we serve. They will lead the development of KPIs for social media clients and develop elegant reporting and insights that show ROI on social media efforts across organic and paid strategies. They will also be tasked with developing meaningful social listening programs for clients to uncover micro and macro data trends, tapping the power of Sprinklr and other social business platforms and intelligence tools. The position requires frequent client interaction, with some travel for on-site presentations and reviews. The position would also aide targeted new business efforts, through research, recommendations and consultation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teams and clients to develop key performance metrics for social media campaigns
  • Develop insightful social listening programs
  • Fuse strategy and analytics insights for maximum client impact
  • Work closely with social media services and community management team members
  • Demonstrate a level of analytical sophistication that meets the highest standards

Essential Skills

  • Advanced social media aptitude: channels, content, social listening, campaigns/paid social, community management and governance work flows
  • Deep experience on social media management platforms, marketing automation platforms and other business intelligence software
  • Developing and reporting on KPIs for social media, content marketing and digital marketing programs
  • Resourceful research skills to find underlying causes of business problems and challenges
  • Awareness of digital marketing and technology trends and behaviors
  • Accomplished presenter and comfortable talking with various levels of client (Manager, Director, C-Suite)
  • Collaborative partner
  • Able to sell ideas effectively
  • Knowledge related to Financial Services, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare and Manufacturing a plus


Required Qualifications

  • College degree
  • 3-4 years professional analyst experience in social media or digital marketing
  • At least 2 years of agency experience or cloud technology provider experience (non-negotiable)
  • Sprinklr, Spredfast, Adobe Social, Marketo, HubSpot experience
  • Able to provide solid examples of work/campaigns you’ve played a critical role in

Marketing Program Manager-

The Marketing Program Manager will collaborate with partners, associates, and business divisions to support and execute strategies for client marketing initiatives. You will be working in a professional services environment that provides marketing, design and technology solutions.


  • Support the development of positioning strategy to attract and retain customers
  • Working with the business divisions, assists in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to support program objectives and enhance customer relationships participate in research, support and maintenance of effective online campaigns
  • Assist in the creation of targeted, content to generate leads, foster desired actions or responses, encourage viral pass-along, and capture valuable marketing data
  • Assists Associates and Partners in preparation for client meetings



  • Minimum BA/BS degree – preferably in Marketing / Communications / Media Studies
  • Self-starter who can work autonomously while collaborating with corporate marketing team and subject matter experts, as required
  • Demonstrated and proven success in marketing strategies
  • Minimum of 2 years media buying experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with changing demands
  • Strong analytical skills
