Trellist Kicks off a 2014 Summer Community Fitness and Wellness Challenge

06/18/2014

Trellist recently kicked off its first community wellness program in participation with the “Keepin’ up with Chuck” fitness challenge.  Community involvement as well as employee bonding and wellness are core elements of the Trellist culture.

The “Keepin’ up with Chuck” challenge follows Chuck Hall on his six week, 3,872 mile, cross-county bike ride dedicated to raising funds and awareness to support the Boys & Girls Clubs in Wilmington, Delaware and Mike’s TEAM mentoring; a program founded in the memory of Mike Clark, to support the needs of less-privileged children in our community.

Trellistees are participating in the challenge by committing to personal fitness goals and raising donations with the support of friends and family. The company also plans to make a contribution based on completion of the collective goal of 500 hours of fitness activities over the course of Chuck’s journey.

Part of the program will include documenting weekly milestones and progress and sending updates and motivation directly to Chuck.

Visit Bike for Mike's Kids to learn more about Chuck’s journey.
