A global science company recently enlisted Trellist for strategic consulting and tactical implementation behind developing and launching an eLearning portal and awareness campaign for all employees.
The organization is developing content as part of a strategic corporate communications objective. The project calls for three work streams: full-service development of the eLearning content, building the web portal repository, and an awareness campaign to promote the portal upon its launch.
The content consists of eLearning modules, training materials, decision making tools, tip sheets, and video-based learning aimed to increase efficiency in understanding corporate concepts and initiatives. The goal is to equip employees with knowledge and understanding to make faster and more advanced business decisions.
The content aims to be easily digested and comprehended. Rather than being curriculum based, it is situational and nonlinear, so each piece can stand alone. This creates a targeted experience ideal for this type of end user. Trellist will develop content based on instructional design best-practices, and produce an intuitive user experience which will allow users to find information quickly and efficiently.
The initial launch and awareness campaign, which includes incentives to build excitement and drive traffic to the platform, is slated for the fourth quarter of 2014 with final content roll out expected to extend through May, 2015.
